New Week- Your Finish Line

Don’t let anyone tell you you can’t do it. It’s not about who’s the fastest or who’s the best. It’s not about who’s prettier or who’s smarter. Its not about who’s stronger or who’s taller. It’s about what makes you happy. If in the end you’re happy with the results, then that’s winning. Succeed at your own speed and at your own will. Everyone is built differently and everyone has different goals. Life is not a competition. Don’t ever feel threatened. If something doesn’t work and someone takes or accomplishes something before you, that doesn’t mean you need to stop and give up. It just means that there’s something better for you at your own finish line. Good things come to those who wait… And most importantly those who are humble. Be happy for the success of those around you, because the day you accomplish your own goals you’re going to want the same respect. Nothing good comes out of jealousy and envy. Be patient, but continue to grow- your finish line will come.

New Week- Good People

Appreciate the people who were there for you at your lowest. These are the people that are true to you. These are the people that want to see you succeed and aren’t going to give up on you just because you’ve hit a rough patch. The people who befriend you because of your success are just there for the, “I know that person!” Don’t be blind and ignore these people. We all want to think the best of people, but we also need to be realistic. In today’s world, everything is different- hello, catfish! Just be careful who you open up to. Friend people who you wouldn’t mind being compared to. Friend someone who brings out the good in you. Friend someone who makes you want to be a better person. These types of people are rare. So look careful, and choose wisely.

New Week- Pray

Pray for the people who are struggling. Pray for the people who have lost someone special to them. Pray for people who need financial help. Pray for people who need that job they just applied for. Pray for the health of someone old. Pray for the health of someone young. Trust and believe that good things come to those who wait. Trust and believe that good things come to good people. Be a good person to have good things come to you. Be the person you want to see in your children. Life will throw a million curve balls at us in life, but you should always have faith and always keep the positivity alive. Pray for others in the hopes they’ll pray for you in return- and even if they don’t, do it because you’re a good person.
