Can’t believe it’s been 13 years since the tragedy of the twin towers. No matter how much time passes, in life changing experiences like these, they’re never forgotten. It’s saddening, confusing, and frustrating that we live in such a world where “accidents,” war, and violence is surrounding us. Granted, no life is perfect and easy. But it’d be nice to know we live in a world that’s safe. However, truth is, you’re never really safe and it’s never going to be easy. Be proud of who you are and where you come from, but be those things cautiously. Look out for yourself and the ones you love, and never take life for granted no matter how much of a struggle it is- because this life only gives you one chance… And you don’t get to decide when you stay or when you go.
