There’s no such thing as being too young to think or envision your future. Be smart and wise, and think ahead. Plan ahead. Want more. People think that because you’re in your early 20’s you’re too young to be in love, too young to know what you want, too young to start you’re real life… But they’re wrong. 20’s are the years to figure yourself out. 20’s are the years to make your mistakes, and start making the right choices. Make it happen. Prove the world wrong. Be the 20 year old that’s not expected. It’s okay to be different. It’s okay to start your life early. No such thing as too young or too old in this world… Go to college at 50. Think about what kind of house you want, or how many children you want at 20. If you’re thinking about it, and can see it, it can happen; so make it happen. Don’t listen to what people say, what people are thinking, or how YOUR actions make THEM feel. Do what you want, think how you want, and worry about how your actions make you feel.
– let people tell you you can’t
– let people tell you no
– feel like you’re not good enough
– let anyone make you feel like no matter how hard you try, it’s not good enough
– think the road eventually comes to an end
– think happiness is temporary
– let other people dictate your life
– give up on your dreams
– stop creating new dreams
– let people walk all over you
– let people control your happiness
– think negatively
– wish for someone else’s life
– stray away from who you
– be somebody you’re not
Be humble and appreciate what you have. Be strong and embrace your journey through life.
Never stop. Never stop trying to be better. Never stop striving for happiness. Never stop creating new dreams. Once you’ve hit a goal, work towards another. Forever challenge yourself. We live in a world with endless opportunities. People always have something negative to say about the society we live in and how things are so hard- but, that’s the beauty of it; being challenge. And the people that say we’re limited, are the people that are small minded; don’t be small minded. The best things in life are created from dedication and hard work. Dream big and keep on dreaming. Don’t ever let anyone tell you no, and don’t ever stop at no. Be who you are and who you want to be, and never stop. The road is endless.
1. Create your own footsteps.
Create your own path rather than following the path that already has footsteps. Just because there is someone going down one path doesn’t mean that’s the same path you should take.
2. Do what makes you happy.
Too many people are worried about what other people are doing.. Or some people are just too worried about what people are thinking of them. But, who cares? Stray away from trends. Do you.
3. Be true to yourself.
Remember who you are and where you came from. Don’t change yourself and your desires to fit in. The trends you’re trying to follow aren’t all that they’re cracked out to be.
There are all kinds of different people in this world. There’s good people, and bad people. Happy people and sad people. Rich people and poor people. People who want change in their life and people who don’t. Who do you want to be? Do you want to be better for yourself and your family? Then stick up for yourself. Be happy for you. Be bold for you. Work hard for you. There are going to be people who ruin your day, but the only way they’ll ruin it and bring you down is if you let them. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, life is what you make of it. Here’s your chance, it’s a new week. New week meaning fresh. Set a goal for yourself this week, to be happy for 7 days straight. And remember that goal when people are putting you down. Remember that you deserve to be happy and you deserve to reach your goals. Strive…. And succeed. Succeed for the people who said you never would.
“Follow your passion, it will lead you to your purpose.” – Oprah Winfrey
Well said Oprah, you go girl. Damn this woman is brilliant, right? The purpose of your life is what you make it out to be. If you don’t want to work that 9-5 job every day, Monday thru Friday, then don’t. Plain and simple. Do what you love and what makes you happy. We are all given the right to choose our own happiness. We’re in a world of endless opportunities. Granted, it’s going to be a tough bumpy road, but anything is possible if you really believe it’s what you’re supposed to do. If you dream about, be about it. There is nothing in this world that you can’t do if you really want to do it. So I say, go for it. Take a chance. Live a little. Hell, live a lot.
Like most things, summer doesn’t last forever. Time to get up. Wake up and get your life going. The end of summer means the end of the year is near, which also means that a new year is approaching. Now, I don’t know about you, but I want to be at a different place in my life next year. And I don’t say that because my life isn’t good right now, because it is. I’m saying that because as the years pass, I want to see myself grow and reach the goals I’ve set for myself and my future. Summer is meant for cat naps on the beach and the night outs with your friends, but that shouldn’t have been an excuse to put your life on hold. And if you did, now’s your time to pick it up again and get to work. We are about to enter 2015… YEAH, 2015! Don’t you want better for yourself in the year 2015? Accomplish the goals you’ve set for 2014, and set some new ones. Finish the last quarter of 2014 right; strong, happy, and motivated. So say goodbye to summer, and say hello to fall.
